We’re told that love conquers all.
That if two people love each other, they can overcome anything.
But many of us learned, painfully, that love isn’t always the problem.
You can love someone — and still feel anxious.
You can love someone — and still feel invisible.
You can love someone — and still feel unsafe.
Love does not cancel out emotional absence, poor regulation, or repeated harm.
You need more than love.
You need:
Safety
Respect
Consistency
Repair
Regulation
Emotional maturity
Without those, love turns into longing.
Love without safety becomes survival.
Safe love is not something you chase.
Safe love is something you build — inside yourself first, and then with someone capable of meeting you there.
This is what My Safe Love Project is here to gently explore.
More soon,
Margot
